Asus Eee PC 100HA 10.1 – Inch Netbook (10.5 Hours Battery Life, Windows 7 Starter)

Thanks to the popularity and the success of the Asus Eee PC, this netbook series changes and evolves much faster than any other laptop models. The Asus Eee PC 1005HA now comes with a bigger hard drive and a new operating system.

The 10.1-inch netbook is powered by a 1.66Ghz Intel Atom processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM and now comes with a spacious 250GB hard drive (an upgrade from the previous 160GB hard drive). Its 10.1-inch display is a LED back-lit display with a 1024 x 600 resolution. This model runs on the Windows 7 Starter (32 bit) operating system. Many other netbook models in the market still run on the older Windows XP operating system.

Despite the various improvements and upgrades made, the Asus Eee PC 1005HA still retains the many features that have made it an icon. For starters, its batteries on this netbook can last up to an astounding 10.5 hours on one charge. The keyboard remains very comfortable and it even comes with a set of stereo speakers with SRS surround technology. If the 250GB hard drive is not big enough, you can also make use of the Asus WebStorage feature that gives you an additional 500GB of online storage! Other great features include Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11b/g/n wi-fi and a memory card reader. Its seashell design is also very stylish, giving the netbook a very high-end look. Despite having some of the best netbook features in the market, the Asus Eee PC 1005HA has maintained its affordability. Currently, it retails for just around $371 per unit!
